About MNMM

We here at the Minnesota Mussel Movement are a group of ten teens from the School of Environmental Studies in Apple Valley, MN. We strive to share our passions of conservation of our native species by educating people of all ages in a multitude of ways. We have collectively chosen different important pieces of freshwater mussel history to share with the public, because its the understanding of the past that helps us build our future. We hope to continuously find new ways to reach more people and speak our mission, creating a more sustainable world one mussel at a time.
